This vest solves an issue I have always had with other tactical vest, which is placement of the hydration pouch inside the vest. You would have to take the vest off to refill your water. With this vest a buddy or I can access my H2O bladder easily, without me removing the vest and it is more low profile than attachable bladder pouches. It also means I can use the MOLLE points on the back for other things. I like the padding in the back. I spent much of my field time in a HUMVEE gun turret and in rough terrain it was not uncommon to have my back get slammed into the turret rim. A vest with a padded back like this would have been nice in those days. I can't speak on it's durability yet as I am just starting to use it.

This is obviously not a plate carrier, but works well for MOLLE attachment and over body armor. The built in hydration pouch is really nice. Don't adjust the sides until you have a full bladder in the vest, because it will require some slack.
My only complaint is that there is a space in the middle where two extra MOLLE rows could have been fitted.
Mesh part is only in the front. Also, you don't see the mesh when the vest is equipped with MOLLE.
