for those of you that live in California or any other low capacity mag state and have 10rd short mags for your modern sporting rifle this holds 5!!! yes 5 ar15 10 round mags perfectly if you have steel 10 rnds or pmags it holds them both perfect and i can even fit in 2 single stack 8 rnd 1911 mags as well. the little zipper holds my id and hunting license. then i put my dog remote or radio and another 2 single stacks in the mag pouch. I also use just the center pouch to hold a snack and a mag or 2 on my belt for short trips and of coarse its condor so its affordable and great quality.

State Emergency Service

As a member of the Queensland State Emergency Service, I needed a pouch that could carry around vital equipment needed to complete my task. I tried using belt pouches but they were too big and always got in the way. Then I went looking for a leg rig and Condor had just what I needed. It's versatility is incredible, I use it to carry my UHF Radio, gloves, field information guide, touch, second back up UHF and a utility knife. When I don't use the leg rig I take off the radio pouch and torch pouch and attach it to my belt. The only issue I have with it is the gadget bag is a little too small to fit my Take 5 notepad and the zip on top of the gadget pouch makes a lot of noise.

As a Nurse in the Oregon Prison system, I have had the opportunity to field test a variety of gear for use in emergency situations. This drop rig has performed very well as an off-dominant gear holder. Because of the long lab coats the Department of Corrections has deemed our "duty uniform", I was forever dropping my gear on the floor from my coat pockets or fumbling under the coat to reach a radio or glove pouch. This drop rig has allowed me to carry, not only a radio within easy reach, but gloves, CPR mask and accessories, flashlight, key chits, field dressings and numerous other necessities I use every day. I have put over 400 hours through this rig and despite some stretching of the webbing, has performed without fail. It takes some tweaking and creative mounting to get the gear securely fastened to the rig, but it can be done. the leg retention strap would benefit from better non-slip backing and would be more versatile if the quick release buckle could be moved to the front for off-dominant wear. Overall, a good rig and an excellent buy for the money.
