#608: Tactical Pants - lightweight ripstop

These pants are durable AND comfortable. I love how all the pockets have generous room for items and I also like the expandable waist.

These pants are amazing. Even the pockets have internal pockets. Incredibly good construction and high quality stitching. YKK zippers are great. Quality all the way.

Just got a pair of these, and love them. At 6'4" its great that they are available un-hemmed. I also like that they seem more straight cut than most 'tactical' pants. The added freedom of movement is remarkable, actually allowing me to bring my knees above my waist without binding. The rip stop material actually IS rip stop, unlike a lot of thin all cotton pants that feel as if they get abraded just by washing. It is light enough for hot weather wear, yet somewhat wind resistant and comfortable for winter wear as well. As an added benefit, they also seem some what water resistant, which is a savior for the clumsy tipping beverages on themselves. Pocket layout is excellent. The thigh pockets have inner pockets that can hold (2) 30rnd M16 mags with the flap closed over them, with the outer pocket still usable. Hip slash pockets have small inner pockets to silence keys, or even to hold a pistol magazine. Small pockets between front slash and rear pockets are great for small multi-tools, lights and knives. A little tight for larger folding knives, but reinforcement on front slash pockets makes for comfortable large blade carry. I honestly don't use the lower leg pockets, but they aren't inconvenient to have, and lay flat and don't snag when unused. Flex panels on the waist band are great, allowing freedom of movement and keeping the seat of the pants up when bending. The only complaint i have is that they aren't yet available in OD green or Coyote tan! Ive already ordered more, and will definitely buy more when Coyote or OD come available.
